Arlan and Deb Roan

Arlan and Debbie Roan married in 1973 and have two beautiful, Christian daughters. The Roans deployed in December 2006 to Costa Rica.

Debbie began her journey with New Mission Systems International in 1996 where she served as Short Term Missions Coordinator and Office Manager for six years. In Costa Rica she will be forming relationships with Tico (Costa Rican) families helping them to meet their needs in raising their children and assuming Godly parental roles.

Arlan is a retired law enforcement officer of 28 years and loves people. He likes to make contact with police officers in different countries around the world. He will be the political contact, serving as the government liaison in Costa Rica.

Arlan & Debbie Roan have been doing short-term mission projects with New Mission Systems International since 1994. They have served on 18 short-term projects in 9 countries. They believe that God has been preparing them for their current full-time assignment in Costa Rica. Their primary mission will be to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and bring glory to God. They plan to accomplish this by developing relationships and community development projects.
